Uzair Surhio is a filmmaker and film programmer dedicated to championing untold South Asian stories. Through his films, he explores overlooked narratives that reveal the intricate social and cultural dimensions of the region. He also programs for other festivals, including Tasveer Film Festival and the South Asian Film Festival of Montreal, curating diverse and thought-provoking cinema.
